How To Use
Start with clean, dry or slightly damp hair: You can use the device on towel-dried hair (if it's slightly damp) for the best results. Ensure your hair is free from tangles by combing or brushing through it.
Plug in the straightener and press the power button to turn it on.
Choose the Desired Heat Setting: The GHD Duet Style features a unique combination of straightening and drying. Set it to the appropriate temperature based on your hair type. Typically, the temperature settings range from 185°C (standard for most hair types) to a higher heat for thicker hair.
Take a small section of hair (1-2 inches wide). Place the flat iron plates at the roots of the section and gently clamp. Slowly glide the device down the length of your hair, allowing the airflow to dry and straighten the section as you move. Repeat this process on all sections of hair. The 2-in-1 design allows you to dry and straighten simultaneously, saving time and providing a smooth, sleek finish.
Once you’ve finished straightening all sections, check the overall look and touch up any areas that may need extra attention. If needed, apply a lightweight serum or styling spray to add shine and reduce frizz.
After finishing, turn off the GHD Duet Style by pressing the power button. Let the flat iron cool down before storing it safely.
